It looks like Philadelphia is fixing up some holes.

Detroit looks to be weakeneing.

Minnesota spent a ton of money.

Are there any teams you like?

I know i live in detroit but i still think that Detroit is going to be a solid team and it will be interesting how they deal without shanny or yzerman.

Babcock doesn't impress me as a coach. He caught lightning in a bottle in Anaheim but anytime a team flops that badly (like Detroit did) in the playoffs it makes me wonder if he's overrated

They've got probably the best blue line in the league. If Selanne stays healthy and their young guys who started stepping up in the playoffs continue to develop, I think they could be very good. Come playoff time they should be able to have either Pronger or Neidermeyer on the ice all the time.

I definitely think the Wild should be a very good team this season upcoming as well. I'm not sure how solid their blue line will be, but there's a lot of upgrades on a team that wasn't all that bad last season.

Other than that, I'm not sure. It's been hard to keep track of where everyone is going.

Ya, im not a big fan of Babcock either but with the guys they have, Datsyuk, Fisher, Draper, Hasek, Holmstrom, Lang, Lidstrom, Schneider, and Zetterberg they could be a dominating team.

I do like their goalie situation now that they signed hasek(even tho he has not been real consistant) and looking to sign belfour.

Oh boy, I don't know about Hasek and Belfour. Two goalies over 40? Expecting them to last through a full season plus a long playoff grind is asking for trouble if you ask me. They do have talent, but you have to also remember that a lot of these guys you list tend to vanish in the playoffs. They'll probably have a good regular season record, but I don't think they'll be dominating, and I do think they'll lose early in the playoffs again.

its definitely a possiblitity, but what im saying is they have the talent, and if they can find a way to become a "team" then they should be fairly good.
