As Free Agency winds down to a close, its time for a little recap of events. Who were the biggest movers and shakers this year? In your opinion who were the biggest winners and losers? Who should we watch out for next year when the games begin? Any predictions for schedules or whateva talk about right here.

Browns, Vikings, Falcons, Cardinals Colts and Cowboys took the biggest steps forward this year in Free Agency. (Dolphins, Saints and Texans also on that list)
Vikings adressed some major issues all over the field, without overpaying or taking too many risks. Cleveland signed some major free agents this year which could definitely help Rueben Droughns and those Browns finally move into Playoff position.
Cardinals juiced that deadly offense containing Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald with Edgerrin James. With Kurt Warner at the helm and an early draft pick this year, this teams offense can seriously become a threat come PLAYOFF time. yeah I said it. PLAYOFF time.
The Colts could very well be the reigning superbowl champions right now had the most accurate kicker in NFL history been able to make a 48 yarder with the game on the line. They are replacing the most accurate kicker for the most clutch, and will once again become a serious title contender next year.
Falcons managed to get John Abraham from the Jets and Lawyer Milloy from the Patriots this year in Free Agency. Deangelo Hall has some serious help out there on defense this year.
Cowboys got TO. Dont really need to say much else you have to consider them contenders for the title now.
I'd have to say the biggest loser this year in the offseason would be the New England Patriots. Yeah they sure they grabbed Eric Warfield, but they lost like 4 or 5 other guys
one of them a future Hall of Famer. Steelers lost Randle El. So throw that whole playbook out the window. And no more Jerome Bettis? Steelers are done. Redskins went out and bought every single player they possibly could this year, and i think that is gonna affect team chemistry. But if Sean Taylor doesnt wind up killing Adam Archuleta i see the Redskins as a major player in the playoffs next year.
5 teams to watch out for next year come playoff time: Vikings Redskins Broncos(two first round draft picks) Colts and Cowboys.
Pats wont make playoffs IMO.
of course none of this stuff really matters until after the draft but ill just make another thread like this post-draft

I have to disagree on the Vikings. Their QB situation is putrid. While they addressed other positions QB was a must-fill and as of right now, it's not filled.

At best we were average. Our QB position will be our downfall if it stays as is.
Signed a handful of mediocre players. Blah.
Hutch was good signing, but way overpaid. Did you see what Bob Kraft said about the Vikes signing of Hutch??

well we dont have the greatest set of wide recievers, and the worst possible thing to do is bring in a new quarterback to learn how to work with the sorry set of recievers. Brad Johnson is the perfect fit for this system. Not only is he familiar with the WCO, but he is already familiar with all of the recievers, especially Troy Williamson. and anyways the style of offense that the Vikings will be implementing next year, the West Coast Offense, is meant for a quarterback just like Brad Johnson.
Its like the Chiefs. If the Chiefs had Drew Bledsoe or Daunte Culpepper then it would clash with the sorry set of recievers. All of em are possesion recievers. You would have a quarterback with a gun always tryna bomb it and go far. But the recievers wouldnt be able to catch it. Thats what happened with Culpepper, he wanted to throw the long ball but the recievers couldnt get to it.
And plus if Chester Taylor is going to be as good as they think he is ( i watched a couple ravens games, hes runs like the Priest) then we can be just like the Buccaneers. Pound the ball through the middle, make short yardage plays, we have a good offensive line so we can control the clock. if we can work our way into the endzone and our defense comes up big, interceptions, turnovers, tacklers for losses, its easy to win.
And make sure you remember that Brad Johnson won a superbowl playing football the exact same way we are gonna be playing next year. Just Pounding the ball and coming up big on defense. as long as he is efficient, than we can win.
And think about this.
Chester Taylor and Moe Williams. Running behind Bryant McKinne, Steve Hutchinson AND Matt Birk.
With Tony Richardson (ProBowlin Blocker for Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson) Leading the Way.
And Jimmy Kleinsauser can come in and block as a Tight End from time to time.
So we CAN run it.

"You don't give out a $49 million contract to a guard. That's lunacy.''
-- New England owner Bob Kraft, to Ron Borges of the Boston Globe, on the contract Minnesota gave to guard Steve Hutchinson.
