We're going to interview the kid that's skipping college outright among a total of 10 at the combine.
That kid skipping college and now skipping the combine might be the best prospect in the draft. His dumb decisions might not help him get drafted in the lottery, but he should be he's that good of a prospect. If he drops to 20, we need to grab him. The dude is so skilled and fairly fluid for his size. Can dribble down the court with both hands, can dunk with both hands, seems like he has a good feel for the game, and I really like his shot motion and mechanics on threes.

Would you trade KAT for #5 + JJ + Kleber + 34 to get him?

(I'm not suggesting we do that...but let's say something like that was plopped out in front of you.)

There's a part of me that really thinks Bamba's going to be a top 5 big...just not as good a scorer.

ETA: Another trade option is Dieng, KAT for 5, 34, Dwight Powell, JJ, Kleber.

    Disappointing measurements:
    Zhaire 6'4" in shoes
    Trae 6'1.75" in shoes + 6'3" wingspan
    Kenrich 6'7.25" wingspan
    Jerome Robinson 6'7.25" wingspan
Svi 6'7.75" in shoes with 6'4.75" (lol) wingspan
I've never seen that. Trimble last year was out of the ordinary for a guy making it to the pro level as his wingspan matched his height but that's crazy.

I have nothing really backing this up other than a conversation I remember having in high school but I was told standard wingspan matches your height. So obviously players with huge wingspans in comparison to their heights are freakish outliers in addition to the other aspects of being outliers on height, athletic ability, etc. Svi is still an outlier based on his own height still but it's a pretty bad sign and very uncommon that his arms are that short. They're still big for a normal human but it's not proportional and contesting shots as a wing player is going to much tougher for him. I'd like to see his standing reach to see if it would at least be passable for the average 2 guard in the NBA.

This ends my biology teacher run.
