Wolves sign Jared Terrell to 2-way contract

Timberwolves Sign Rhode Island Guard Jared Terrell to Two-Way Contract

41 percent from three on 5.3/game, and 82 percent from the line on 4.1/game.

    From SI:

    66. JARED TERRELL, G, RHODE ISLAND | SENIOR
    Height: 6’3" | Weight: 215 | Age: 23 | Last: 69
    Stats: 16.8 PPG, 2.4 APG, 41.4% 3FG

Solid, if unspectacular, in most facets of the game, Terrell is a nice sleeper as a combo guard. He’s thickly built with good court vision and a level of toughness to him. He had success playing both on and off the ball on a guard-driven team at Rhode Island, and is a capable set shooter and playmaker. Terrell averaged 1.5 steals last season and has the strength to hang with larger opponents on the wing. He doesn’t have a lot of wiggle creating off the dribble and sometimes has issues getting all the way to the rim, but he was solid at Portsmouth and deserves an opportunity to work his way up to the league.

Why not? He worked out a couple of times for us. They liked him. Looks good to me.

Even money in a couple of years he will be better than Teague and much cheaper as well.

Probably also means Tyus is gone.
Publicity, fame and accolades can make a theory popular. They can't make it true.

Its a G League deal where he can spend a limited amount of time with the big club. I wouldn't read nearly there much into it.
