StretchArmstrong is an unknown quantity at this point
Risebrough is out

A Front office shake up for Wild

Maybe it means the team is finally going to try and do something to improve for once?

Back to the drawing board.

Well this to me isnt a shock and only makes sense now that Jaque is gone that Doug R should be hitting the road as well and turn this franchise over. I think the Wild have taken advantage of their fans that have forked over sell out after sell out year after year for a product that has not performed when it matters most (other than 1 year). The Wild have been unwilling to invest in bigger named high powered offensive players they needed badly and they have produced solid but not All Star quality younger players to help the franchise. Hopefully whomever the Wild bring in to run the team will be more aggressive in adding top talent to the roster.

What bothers me is the players around the league talk about the great ice and the support the team recieves yet they cant turn that into better players most of that coming because they are unwilling to trade youth or to spend money. The salary cap has something to do with it but the love they have for their youth is over blown when that youth over the years has not turned into All Star quality players.

Very good points. There seems to be no reason why the Wild cannot become the next version of the Detroit Red Wings when you look at the fan base and the arena they play in. I've always wondered how a beat up arena like Joe Lewis and a city as depressed as Detroit has been able to sustain such a dominant program. Hopefully Leopold will bring the Wild in a direction to supplant the Red Wings.
